What is Isiphambano?

Isiphambano Centre for Biblical Justice is a study and training centre dedicated to developing a holistic, theological, and cross-shaped response to racial and economic injustice within the South African context.

What We Do:

Isiphambano provides theological resources and training to assist the church in developing a cross-centred, contextual understanding and practice of justice.

How We Do It:

ENGAGE in robust theological study and contextual reflection on issues of racial and economic inequality in the South African context.

CHALLENGE the prevailing theological narratives and inherited paradigms of ministry which have sustained and even promoted injustice and racial inequality.

PROVIDE contextually relevant and theologically grounded resources in a variety of formats to assist churches and individuals to engage with and challenging issues of racial and economic inequality.

JOURNEY with churches and church leaders, guiding them through processes of change in order to become more just and inclusive communities.
