In our latest online seminar Pastor Brian Koela will explore Jeremiah’s letter to the exiles (Jeremiah 29:1-8) in particular his injunction that they “seek the peace of the city”. What might it mean for us to seek the peace and prosperity of our own very different cities, paying particular attention to the call to repentance and shalom (peace)?

About the Speaker:
Brian Koela currently heads up Ubukho Bakhe church, a multiethnic church planting project in Cape Town. Born in Sharpeville, Brian became a Christian at UCT and studied theology at the Bible Institute of South Africa. Brian has extensive ministry experience across a variety of contexts from campus ministry to pastoring a township church. As well as building and pastoring a multi-ethnic church in Muizenberg, Brian also worked for 5 years doing transformational development work for The Warehouse. Brian Koela is married to Minah and they have four sons
